WHO WE ARE
The BIIT is the only TVET Institute in the Kissi Bendu Region in Eastern Kailahun District working under the support of the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) in the Ministry of Higher and Technical Education in Sierra Leone and accredited by the National Council for Technical Vocational and other Awards (NCTVA). The Institute offers public authorized programs in Public Technical Education at National Certificate (NC), National Certificate (Vocational) NC(V), Ordinary Diploma and Higher Diploma (HD) levels. Programmes offered are of the highest standards and quality guaranteed by Ministry of Higher Education and Training

OUR MISSION
BIIT Courses are expertly designed to assist disadvantaged youth make the technical and hands-on transition. This is often the missing link in development, from school to work. It leads to the production of highly skilled and productive workforce thus reducing unemployment through life skills and enhance national development
